According to the current PTR build the shattering may bring Ink Of the Sea stockpiling to an abrupt halt. As of right now Sellers is now trading Blackfallow ink for the lesser inks instead of IotS on the PTR. Wile this may very well be changed before the patch goes live I wouldn't want to count on this. Plan to change your ink over before next Tuesday if you have not been doing it already.
The shattering will also see the disappearance of Zul Gurub, The Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj, and the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj. So if you want the achievements this week might be your last chance to get them.
Personally I have been running around with a couple guildies exploring every nook and cranny of the old world we can before it's changed forever. We have been killing the world dragons as fast as we can find them and I've been lucky to obtain a couple patterns that will be worth a lot. Outside of these dragons there is no effective way to farm Vanilla world drops. So it can be assumed that without these dragons these drops will become even more rare so take a peak.
Just a thought will our beloved battlegrounds receive any makeovers or will they somehow by untouched by Deathwing's wrath?
